John Pemberton insists City’s survival bid is very much in their own hands as they prepare to face a number of teams in and around them in the table. First up is a trip to Shrewsbury Town, who occupy the relegation zone but are just three points behind the Robins. City also have fixtures to come against the other three teams in the drop zone – Notts County, Stevenage and Crewe Alexandra, as well as Colchester United, who are a point ahead of Steve Cotterill’s men. “We know it’s in our own hands,” said the first team coach told Bristol City Player. "If we take care of our own business we will be fine. There are teams around us we have to play and, if we get those games right, we will be okay. It is massive and it would be nice, for once, to get a positive performance and a positive result COYR
Evening Rickster 'Like last saturday ?' Gillingham were utterly useless last w/e. My mate Gillett got us out of jail with a wonder strike, if he hadn't .......... So I worry for us tomorrow, surely Shrewsbury can't be as bad. Lets keep everything crossed.
