Arsenal fans in general are feeling much more upbeat and confident this season and for the future than we all have been in recent years. It's a positive change, definitely not making fans more bitter. Those of us with a hint of intelligence can see we are moving in the right direction.
I do sense a different wave of frustration emanating from Arsenal fans currently as opposed to same time in years past. Going from a rare high to an 'oh not-f**ing again' low, does that to you. Bitterness is just channelled frustration towards a target, LFC, in this case.
I think the Ozil signing changed the general mood and/or outlook of Arsenal fans. As fans we can feel miserable or quietly confident about the season. How the season ends is beyond our control but those who've been upbeat will have had a more enjoyable ride.
Don't know where your getting that vibe because so far the "oh not again" hasn't happened, we are still in with a chance (slim in the case of the cl) of a trophy. And so far there has been far more positivity from arsenal fans. The general feeling is we have performed above expectations this year, we are moving in the right direction and the future is looking good. No idea tbh where your getting your ideas about arsenal fans lol (unless you've been reading the large amount of posts from the very small number of very negative arsenal posters rofl but they are pissed off even when we are winning!)
Just in case you can't see youtube videos I'll describe it. An old man in an Arsenal shirt stands weeping. A younger man in an away shirt and hat stares at the old guy with horror in his eyes, knowing his words to be true. No one disagrees.
Ah ok so your opinion about arsenal fans is formed from one old mans opinion immediately after a loss, gotcha!
We base opinions on what we read and see, and we've read about and seen plenty of Arsenal supporters drowning in a sea of their own tears this season just like every preceding season back to the clubs last trophy win 8 long years ago.
You must be reading some right rubbish then On this forum the feeling is far more positive than it has been in recent years. Same on the other sites I use and with my real life gooner friends
If I were an Arsenal fan, I'd be happy to have finally shown an initiative and purchased class. I'd don't know what I would think about team as a whole. It doesn't look like Arsenal will finish outside the usual 3rd/4th region... but at least the title challenge was on in earnest at least until March. Being an Arsenal fan would be quite a stable experience compared to most teams. They never have really bad seasons like most clubs do but its been a while since there has been highs either. Less of a roller coaster ride of emotions. Despite the sparsity of cups they never have to deal with the dredge of being sentenced to Roy Hodgeson. Or ending 7th in the league.
A petition to get Agger banned!!!! Are all of North London's football fans complete knobs? Agger was playing for his country Denmark, how the fook is that, then up to the FA to ban him for a 50/50 tackle? Maybe the half intelligent Arsenal fans should look at Wilshire and ask why did he ask to play on? They can not blame anyone for his injury but there number 10.
Looked at the table recently? Looks like it could well be a scrap between the Gooners and Spuds and all bets are off.
You are aware the bookies still have us favourites over you to finish top 4? Don't #FreeSuarez, instead #FindOzil
I didn't know that and now that I do I... Oh wait that's right I don't care what the bookies are saying lol It doesn't change the fact that your on the same points as us, having just caught up, so to try and say 4th is a scrap between arsenal and spurs whilst ignoring liverpool is ridiculous.
