I notice a newbie called Plummers has Australia. Who is this poster? He's only made one post. Are there other posters, Dave for example, who would like to have taken part but missed it, who should maybe be given the team if Plummers doesn't ever return???? Just a thought
We had 3 over the years... the rubber key one... then the black one with the built in cassette player... finally the grey one with built in disk drive. The speccy with the disk was fancy man.
Best football manager version was the old spectrum one. No taking all weekend to get through preseason. One thing that annoyed me though... if you rejected a transfer bid your player would always get injured for the next game. That never made any sense. /learnt to program on a Spectrum. I'm a programmer today because was too cheap to buy games... used to write all my own as a kid.
I think it would be fair enough to give it to a regular poster, if they wanted it. Who should decide though? Maybe a PM to Plummers with a time limit on how long he has to see the thing and respond. No reply and it's up for grabs???
I'd feel sorry for plummers; could be a reader that rarely posts. If anything co-op Australia, allow plummers and someone else to share Australia... its one of the worlds least densely populated countries... there is room for two.
