It doesn't matter if it's the start of the season or the end of the season, every year there is a Gooner #meltdown, every year there are calls for Wenger Out, then every year you beat Spurs or fluke 4th and everything is forgotten again until the next annual #meltdown

Couldn't agree more. If we don't win the league which we will do ;) - maybe, possibly .... then I'd like to see Arsenal take it <ok>

We, the people ( of England, not France ), DEMAND that the Arsenal boys team be removed from the Barclays premier League on the basis that its a league for adults not small, girls like children.

Makes me laugh. Online petitions are a good idea for showing public reaction to major issues, and forcing the authorities to take notice, but trivial partisan football arguments?
It reminds me of people who ring the emergency services because they can't find the TV remote.

But despite that you ain't had the luxury blanket of a cup to go with your "always the bridesmaids title" in the league.

Wenger said top 4 was a cup, and you all swallowed it like lemmings, top 4 season on season without any CL trophies only lines the pockets of the Arsenal owners and keeps Wenger in a job, your manager bought Ozil to keep you fellers of his back because he knew what Arsenal fans were saying about the money mountain not being used because of Wenger's master plan to do a Fergie with his own crop of youngsters.

    Your comments are just nonsense.

In the last couple of seasons there has been no meltdown, we have started slowly and then grown throughout the season.

There are a small amount of fans who get on the wenger out bandwagon each season and I expect them to remain regardless of how we do, we have a small rather negative section who just seem to hate life. But what that has to do with us supposedly melting down I don't know. Just some silly fans, every club has them.

The whole top4 being a cup quote has never died out rofl, people take things so literally. Wenger was making it clear how important top 4 is. Looking at Liverpool whilst out of the top 4 I'd expect you guys to understand how important it is.

Also financially in this day and age of sugar daddy clubs continuous cl football is the way to remain at the top table of clubs.

You also obviously have no idea about arsenals financial position as getting cl doesn't line the pockets of any of our owners. They take no dividends and are paid minimally. Our financial approach has been about our brand new lovely stadium, not about making our owners rich. That is total nonsense.

As for ozil, who knows the reasoning behind the transfer, but what can be said is wenger had tried to sign ozil before he joined Madrid, so was always on his wanted list.

Overall I basically disagree with every word of your post on this occasion :p

So your owners don't make a penny on their investment?

Your clubs reasons for the importance of top4 isn't the same as ours, we were in it to win it(which we did), Arsenal are in it to make up the numbers and make more money which the manager will choose not to spend.

Ozil was bought only to appease the fans because our club told yours to **** off regarding Suarez.

As for your new shiny stadium, that's all well and good, but the new shiny trophy cabinet in the new shiny stadium only contains newspaper clippings of your famous top4 finishes.:emoticon-0105-wink:

The owners don't take any money out of the club.

Ozil being signed was fantastic for us And hopefully ushers in the era where we can compete for the top players. Our new financial deals in place support this view.

We are in the champions league to play the best teams in Europe and to have a go at winning it. Our closest time being the 06 final. The only clubs who go into it expecting to win it are barca and bayern. All the others bar the filler teams in the groups fall into the same category.

As for the stadium, the idea behind it is to set us up to be better suited to compete with the top clubs and it means more of us can watching ur team play live. Now that we are not hamstrung by the deals in place when we moved the benefit of this owl. Isley to be seen.

If we still haven't won anything within the next few seasons, now that we are in a position to compete, then I would be questioning the club. For now though we have done well considering our circumstances and are now looking at much more exciting times for the club :)

Check your clubs current price per share and then check how many the yank and the Russian have and you'll see why they don't need a club salary, your clubs annual top4 finish has made 1 Arsenal share worth £16+k.

The new stadium benefits the club more than the fans, prices up, food and drink prices, match day program prices etc all up, the goldmine that is The Emirates Stadium does not reflect well with the footballing side of Arsenal FC, you have the ground and the finances but not the players or manager that's required for success.

Unless you like Wenger count a top4 finish every season a success.<whistle>

Considering our circumstances I'd say maintaining top4 has been relatively fairly successful. It's not as simple as win or lose or only utd can consider themselves successful.

I think the stadium benefits everyone, the fans and the club alike.

And I have no problem with owners making a return on their investment by improving the value of the club. Once again they take no money out of the club. If they make money in the long run through the share price I haven o issue with that at all, it doesn't effect the financial resources available to us.

Arsenal are so particularly bitter this year. The marquee signing, leading the race early on, Wenger's belief, proclaiming this year is different, ... all degenerating into the marquis getting mashed, the race slipping, Wenger being told for what he probably is, witnessing Liverpool overtaking them, LFC doing all they dreamed their attack would do, JWH, Suarez...

<laugh> don't blame the f**kers for racing to public crying posts

Utd have won it twice in 20 attempts, Chelsea once in fewer attempts and Liverpool in 6 attempts.

That makes three clubs not just Utd successful in the CL

How many have Arsenal won in how many attempts?

    # finals don't count because the above three clubs like Arsenal have also reached finals and lost.

So in a nutshell finishing top4 in Arsenal's case has meant failure in Europe and big bucks for the club.

Your obviously trying to get a reaction :p

My comment about utd wasn't in regards to the CL but rather about the fact that other than utd no other team has consistently own trophies every season. I was trying to point out that there are other factors to success other than the trophy count :)

So the rest of your post is replying to something I hadn't said, or rather was misunderstood.
