With no game this weekend, every reds eye will be on Stamford Bridge where Chelsea take on Spurs. Its a must win for Spurs to stay in the hunt for a top 4 spot and a must win for Chelsea to gain an advantage of 9 points over City and pile on the pressure for them to win their games in hand. If Chelsea drop points, Liverpool will be within striking distance.... All very exciting! So thought I'd gauge how you want this to play out with a poll.......secure top 4 place (Chelsea win would mean we have a 6 point gap and a game in hand over Spurs) or a Spurs win (would mean that we are within striking distance of Chelsea and still to play them at home) As I suspect most will choose a draw (would be my choice) It's just a straight forward win choice.
Where's the draw option? A draw's always the best between two rivals whilst there are still a few games left. If it has to be one or the other I'd go for Spuds win. I suppose.
Draw is the obvious answer but if someone has to win then I pick Chelsea. Lets get fourth secured this month and then we can challenge for the league (subject to thew former).
I agree with this. Although Spurs are uncomfortably close, beating them is entirely down to us. To catch Chelsea we still need a little help from our "friends".
There is absolutely no way, at all, in a million years, whatsoever, on this earth that Spuds are going to win this game
I know, but I would love it... Dodgy as **** 90th minute penalty after a game with no shots on target... Penberto Loldado steps up...
The last player to score a winning goal for Tottenham at Stamford bridge was Gary Lineker in February 1990. Bridge too far for SPUDS.
what;s more probable? Spurs pipping us to 4th or us finishing above Chelsea? Let's use our heads here, we need chelsea to win (draw the best) because spurs need to be kicked off our tail. Remember, spurs are yet to play us
