As you already have 4 active threads about Sunderland I thought I'd make it 5 and mark it with a little poll.

Which of these is the best Derby goal in the last 3 games? Cracking goals mind you. Enjoy.

I guess you'd better make the most of your derby wins, Bri, because being sunderland, you know it will all end in tears. Just like we all knew it would on Sunday. Meanwhile, watch for that trap door into the brown stuff

And I've still got the warm glow

I too still have a warm glow. Lasted several months now. :)

I'd go for Vaughan's personally, although I'd have included the Richardson free kick on the list meself...

Keiron 'God is Love' Richardson <doh>..........reminds me of when someone scribbled Jesus Saves on the bog wall at work. Someone added 'But Rush scores off the rebound...'

Must admit, I voted for Vaughan.

You're not doing bad - 3 in a row as it stands.

Only two wins to go and you can match our record of FIVE WINS on the trot. <ok>
Even then we drew one before we made it SIX wins out of Seven.

    24 Feb 2002 Sunderland 0 Newcastle United 1 <ok>
    21 Sep 2002 Newcastle United 2 Sunderland 0 <ok>
    26 Apr 2003 Sunderland 0 Newcastle United 1 <ok>
    23 Oct 2005 Newcastle United 3 Sunderland 2 <ok>
    17 Apr 2006 Sunderland 1 Newcastle United 4 <ok>

The second longest winning streak is FOUR, strangely enough by US yet again.

The winner of the last game will always change, but the winner of the First Competitive game between the two clubs will always be Newcastle United.
    <ok>

They say every dog has its day, enjoy it while you can.

I could do a GC here and start beeling, delete the thread and the tags and ban you Bri..how dare you insinuate any Mackem could shag his sister. But I actually get the funny side, plus we aren't as sensitive over here. <badger>
It's good that you are acknowledging such comments about shagging sisters are reasonable banter and only made in jest, fair play to your fella.
It's a shame we can't split the last option mind. <whistle>... I'll vote for it and insert a retrospective clause removing the bit about obsession.
At 5 threads we now need another 6 or 7 to get to the heights the Mackems have set in the past though.

It's a fair point about how many Sunderland threads there have been recently, its approaching their obsession with us. I assume its because our season has hit such an inevitable dullness due to stability whereas they have a genuine rollercoaster going on and is likely to continue until the final days. Not sure what their excuse is though.

I think we're nearly all done with last weekend now I have to agree. As amusing as it was, and as amusing as their reaction to the hilarity has been, I think its just about had its day now. Thing is after our early departure from the FA Cup, it may reignite if Brucie does the treble over them on Sunday as we have little else to focus on bar Pardew's Murder Trial.

Thought Brucie might have been out of a job after our visit.
