It says in the Sunderland echo 'up next' refering to Shane long's next match, but he is cup tied with Jelavic, it lasts for the rest of the season, so if Hull play either they will be kicked out of the f a cup !
They're all jobsworths, Whoscored.com think you're going to play the same team that beat us in the league. Completely forgetting your two cup tied forwards and an injured McShane I hate the media. There's no excuse for sloppy work when the facts are just a mouse click away. Journalism in this country is on par with customer service. ****e.
Ah, WhoScored.com, the same people who thought that the 'Worst Premier League XI' should have less Fulham players than Sunderland or Hull players... on of whom (Westwood) hasn't even played in months.
Yep, the very same. Do you know? I'm trying to gather information for the match thread, these useless knackers don't help. Makes it harder that Bruce or Poyet have given no hints. Going to have to write my own. Would you say you're going to field a strong side, play mostly squad players or mix it up? Has Curtis Davies been declared fit yet or is it still touch and go?
I think, considering we'd be at Wembley if we won and we'd have been playing a league game this week anyway, we'll play a decently strong side, obviously the strikers being cuptied is a bastard. Davies will probably start, we have very little cover atm due to injury. No idea how this match will go, it's always hard to predict cup games before the teams are announced.
Cheers fella. Haven't got the slightest inkling who we're going to play. Poyet tends to use the squad, even in premiership games which has made our starting line up very tough to predict.
Might as well add this too: we aren't going to sell out. We've sold about 19k so far. Which is ****ing ****e.
We didn't sell out until the Semi's in the league cup. Could have done with the body heat in the quarters against Chelsea, it was bloody freezing. Did think you'd have sold more though, what with the Semi's on neutral ground.
Hopefully sales perk up a bit tomorrow, but I'm not confident. Too many plastics in Hull and the area who only care for the Prem. Hopefully a prolonged stay in this League can change that.
Don't understand that mentality. The cups represent the only chance for clubs like us to win a major trophy.
I agree, it really annoys me. The honest truth is that they don't really care about the club, they just want to see Liverpool, Chelsea or Man Utd.
