Away day guide on official site says all pubs near the ground are home fans only? anyone know of any plans for birmingham city centre?
Whenever I go to games in Birmingham I usually head into the City centre, there's plenty of good watering holes there. It's then best to jump in a cab to get the ground. I'm not going on Saturday due to working so I'm not sure what all the other R's have planned. http://www.fansnetwork.co.uk/footba...4192/lfw-travel-guides--birmingham-st-andrews
Square peg which is a very large JD's on corporation st in twn centre (gd pub finder on their website)... prob have security but ive seen hoops in there. also for real ale people..pub called the wellington on bennets hill. Advise u to google it. 5 mins from new street. U have to walk past 2 or 3 to get to it. Worth it. On average about 16 real ales on
The Wellington is an excellent real ale pub and, as mentioned, you can take food in and they'll give you plates and cutlery for it as long as you're drinking.
