People suggesting that Flanno isn't good enough is quite frustrating for me. Carragher lacked the abilities but his passion for the club and hard work focusing on putting what abilities he had to best use is what made him so great. He was never the best CB around but nobody else would have done the job for us like he did because of that passion. I think Flanno will be the same. His abilities are limited but over the last year to eighteen months he has been learning how to put what he has to best use. He is still only 21yrs old so he has plenty of time to learn too. Maybe he shouldn't be automatic first choice for a team with title aspirations right now but then, you could argue that we only have a target of top four this season since that was the aim at the start of the season. you could also argue he is good enough for a title challenging side considering the amount of game he has played this season and the league position we find ourselves in.
I'd play............. --------Sturridge-------- Sterling-Rooney-The Ox Henderson - Gerrard © Baines-Terry-Jags-Shaw ----------Hart------------ Lallana would defo be there though.
Rooney really needs to improve to be in my side but he will definitely play in Woy's team. Lallana really deserves a spot IMO which is great that such a problem exists. Since we have a fair amount of attacking players but not so many options defensively, its a shame we don't have a more attack minded manager to suit.
Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere is set to be out for six weeks after sustaining a hairline fracture to the navicular bone in his left foot.
#bbcsalford stirring it John Breckles: Think @DanielAgger had his LFC head on last night when he fouled Wilshere!
Yeah that is stirring it, dont like us do they! From what they've said on their board he's been rubbish so I dont think they'll miss him a lot!
