Hillsborough card? Are you ****ing sick? Coming from a scouser as well (Im wondering)

The chant, the way I view it has been agreed with by others, including non Liverpool fans Diego and Drogs (he said he could understand why we'd see it that way)

Deary me Tobes, have you lost you bus pass or something? You're acting incredibly ridiculous. Never seen this side to you

Shame lad, shame, are there any mirrors close by to go and have a word with yourself

the Write offs were only relevant in the last 2 accounts (including the ones that have just been releasde), the wage bill is lower, tv revenue is up and, helpfully, you dont get investigated if you're not currently in Europe (http://www.theguardian.com/football...ague-financial-fair-play?INTCMP=ILCNETTXT3487).

    We'll be reet.

As soon as you qualify you get investigated and still have had to complied with the figures over the previous reporting period. You don't start from zero once you qualify silly.

No, you are lad, for playing it, shameful behaviour and deserved calling out on, but as per you're trying to turn it back on me for merely pointing out the fact that you crassly and ridiculously tried to use an unrelated banner on someone's avatar, as an excuse to accuse them of taking the piss out of Hillsborough, you're an absolute disgrace lad

Under the rules, Liverpool are likley to qualify for UEFA competiton so would have to supply their 2011/12 and 2012/13 accounts this coming July. These would clearly show that the club made a Break Even deficit and hence, during October 2014, UEFA would request the 2013/14 club accounts. Liverpool would clearly be assessed over the three seasons (2011/12, 2012/13 and 2013/4) and any punishment disclosed in July 2015 (assuming they had overspent over the three year period).

The stadium right offs deserve a stewards inquiry irrespective of FFP. Quite how do you run up costs of £50m on a development that doesn't get as far as a spade entering the soil, with no land purchase? Bizarre

It doesn't matter for next season but might for the season after that, which means there's plenty of time to get things in order:

    http://www.theguardian.com/football...ague-financial-fair-play?INTCMP=ILCNETTXT3487

"A Uefa spokesman confirmed to Press Association Sport that clubs not involved in Europe this season will not be assessed until next season.

Liverpool remain hopeful that they will comply despite their losses. The club may be able to write off a loan made by their owners Fenway Sports Group to repay a £38m loan taken out to develop stadium plans by the former proprietors Tom Hicks and George Gillett.

The autumn financial review by Uefa will look at clubs' finances over the 2011-12, 2012-13 and 2013-14 seasons, plus an estimate of the position over the two years to come.

That means the impact of the new bumper Premier League TV deal would be reflected in the English clubs' accounts."

For them to write it off they will have to supply full details of where every penny went. I know when we were looking for a new ground we had 2 consecutive years of claiming over 1m for architects etc. How you get to 37M is somewhat intriguing though.

We'll be allowed in next season, by the time the investigation we are involved in starts, last years accounts wont matter (this ones's will), we will still be tight as for the 2014 y\e we will have about £40m loss, but the £38m loan will be discounted.

the season after that, we will have CL revenue (all being well) and increased Prem TV revenue, thanks to BT.

I agree with you Tobes, but its in UEFAs rules, as are alot of things that couls save Man City.

The whole thing is bollocks, but as I said.

    We'll be reet

We have to do that anyway for the Auditors to sigh the report off (every material amount, same as UEFA want)

I think its because you said that I dont seem to think the last two accounts matter, which they dont, only last years and 2014's will.

They actually wrote off £50m in total, but the last of it was in the 2010 accounts, so shouldn't be eligible as it was prior to the UEFA monitoring period. What they're seemingly trying to do now, is use the fact that they've re-financed the debt accrued as a result of the write off in '10, as infrastructure costs in the current period. Which seems to be stretching it, in more ways than one.

We ran up about £4m in cost over our failed Kirkby move, but that was after a public inquiry, so most of that was legal fees. £50m stinks like a week old kipper.
