is he not cup tied Nothing against the bloke and maybe he is finding his feet but his size worries me and looked like a little boy lost against Arsenal. I do however think Gus may rest a couple of players
lol, all our players looked like little lost boys against arsenal ! Bridcutt did alright against the Nags. I'd play him against Hull, so Catts doesn get a red card
just checked his games this year it does not look like he has played in the Cup So play him he will be keen to get a Wembley appearance like the rest of the lads
This weekend I'd play Bridcutt. I personally don;t see Sunday's game as that big a thing really. The league game next weekend is much more important IMO. Games against the "big boys" we can easily play both Cattermole and Bridcutt - 2 combative defensive midfielders who are capable of a tackle and, as Catts proved, are also capable of passing the ball. But against Hull I'd play Bridcutt this weekend - let him get game time against a team of similar standing to ours
Size doesn't affect Ramires or it didn't affect Modric and Makeleke. We need to give him time. He had a very good debut. It's a big step up from the Championship and then away to Arsenal in only his 2nd game!
If he plays it has to be Catts who makes way. We don't need two holding mid fielders against a side who'll probably go 442 at home. I'd play Catts myself.
if the team that played at wembley wasnt the strongest according to gus it should have been ,so every game from here on in must be the strongest, same team for me.
This, as I reckon Hull will target Catts for a red card, rest him cos we're going to need him, we can't afford to lose him again.
Hope cattermole starts because I do not rate bridcutt at all. my lass is stronger than him says it all really.
