Most of what they make these days is rubbish, the archives are a goldmine, they should make it all repeats.

BBC NI News was brilliant during the early 1990's - almost every night you got to spot someone you knew on the telly.

I find myself, whem I am watching telly, not looking at the 4 main channels. Full of cheap tv, soaps, food programmes, reality tv and general dross.

I watch some of the film channels on freeview. You can get a few gems on there.

Buy a 2nd hand TV when you next move home and don't get a license <ok>

So called TV Detector vams cannot detect ****, unless you smear it all over their face.

Am I the only one on here who actually still buys a licence? If you don't pay it what are you doing moaning about the BBC? <doh>

We have one but I'd like to see it scrapped, just take the money from HM Revenue. It's another pain in the arse thing we have to deal with when moving home and must cost a fortune to run.

My missus got ambushed by a TV license man when I wasn't there and he intimidated her into giving over her details. I would have told him to **** off - they just target the weak and vulnerable (which is why Toby pays his).
