    England win 1-0.
Kasper Schmeichel has become a very good keeper and kept Denmark in it till late on.

    England possession - 57%
    Shots - 19
    Corners - 11

But despite that, the score could have still ended 1-1 if Denmark's late free kick had snuck in, which it almost did, and with a deflection it could have gone anywhere.

Yep........that's the beauty of the game mate. Your keeper keeps you in it and you sneak one near the end!

Leicester have a really good keeper on their hands who finally seems to fullfill his potential. Wigan's Jean Beausejour looked quality for Chile tonight as well. A shame we can't say the same for any of our players at the moment.

I wanted schmeichel here and he could have been had cheaper than green too.
The game was so boring that I switched off, it reminded me of watching QPR. Nothing happened in the first hour except for a little flurry before ht.

Think Adidas would have done a good job for us, hope Nike can come up with a good hoops design too.

I didn't catch that incident - I believe he played on, but you were certainly correct in your assessment Flyer.

Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere has suffered a hairline fracture in his left foot and will be sidelined for at least six weeks.

The 22-year-old sustained the injury during England's 1-0 international friendly victory over Denmark on Wednesday night at Wembley.

Wilshere was injured in a challenge by Liverpool's Daniel Agger in the 12th minute but played on until the hour.

A crack was discovered in the navicular bone following a scan on Thursday.

I've always hated the plastic boots, they offer no protection and lead to broken toes and feet all the time. Its just marketing.

Speaking if which, Nike have bought out a knitted boot, yes really and adidas have bought out a sock and boot all in one.

Sure they are 100g lighter but that makes bugger all difference as its less than the weight if the undershirts players wear.

Same goes for the stupidly small 3" shin pads they wear.

Had never heard of metatarsal injuries before these plastic boots were introduced. Remember Beckham before the 2002 WC? And didn't Rooney suffer the same before another tournament?
Can't understand why the clubs who pay their wages allow it.

I know, its literally like playing barefoot. Someone just has to step on your toe and its broken.
What makes me laugh is the pub players follow them and pay £200 for a pair of boots.

I do like the fact bircham banned the youth team from having them.

I'm a Adidas Copa Mundial man myself, always have always will.

Leather boots, no substitute. Have to admit I tried out the Adidas Predator when they came in the nineties, still leather but couldn't compete with the Copa Mundial IMO.

Puma king/cell here. They were the only make that didn't give me blisters. I remember one guy stamped on my foot, it hurt for about 5 secs and then I was fine, id have needed an xray with today's boots.
I tried the predator too but the glue from the rubber studs grave way meaning they'd flop about all over the place.

I'd kick anyone extra hard if they wore flash boots, ironically it was never the better players wearing them.

Because the clubs who pay their wages also get massive sponsorship from the people who make the boots?

Wow, you got into a few tussles as a goalkeeper, didn't you?
