    Lallana behind Sturridge works quite well.

    Sturridge has to be at the sharpe end. Not Rooney.

    It is interesting watching Lallana play deeper. Maybe as part of a central three with Gerrard and one other. Any thoughts?

    We can't play all 30 players. He's getting some useful experience training with the squad, and maybe he'll play against Peru.

    That would work, but he is more effective if he gets further forward, as he showed tonight. Maybe as the 1 in a 4-2-1-3 or something like that. Good performance from both him and Shaw I thought.

    How much better were England when Rooney and Wiltshire went off and Adam & Welbeck replaced them.
    We had balance, running and creativity as well as moving our in form centre forward into his proper position
