"Well collected by Sterling" (It was actually Sturridge) "Oh great effort from Sturridge!" (This time it was Sterling) At least 3 or 4 times now. Top class pundity. Not to mention the constant sly digs at Hendo and Sturridge but nonstop excuses for Rooney.
Sterling been the best player by far. Commentry is ****ing awful. Where's tge russians when you need them!
Townsend is as useless at commentary as he was at football. Every match he is anti Liverpool but his general commentary is piss poor
It is difficult though. We see these players (generally) perform to a high standard every week. Then Roy has a few days with them and they have a few new teammates and all of a sudden they're gash. Also I don't think any of our lads have done anything wrong. Rooney is a lazy bastard at times who isn't even a striker these days and Wilshere has been picked on name alone.
I agree. Apart from Johnson all our lads have looked good. Cahill too. But Wilshire and Rooney are pretty poor. Hodgsons idea of football is far removed from what we are used to under Rodgers
Henderson hasn't done much wrong, but hasn't been spectacular. Shaw has looked very good since he's come on. Good in defence, and quick to get up and support. Awesome cross in just now. Rooney has been poor, would like to see him come off and Lallana to come on which will allow Sturridge to go central and have Lallana & Sterling either side of him.
