GK: Hart, Foster, Butland (worth the risk to blood some youth even if he's not the current third best).

    LB: Baines, Shaw
RB: Johnson, Clyne (I know Walker will go but he's a liability IMO)
CB: Cahill, Jagielka, Caulker, Shawcross (just trying to base it on form and I think Jones and Smalling have been awful. Can't think of any other contenders).

Midfield: Gerrard, Wilshere, Lallana, Barkley, Henderson, Chamberlain, Sterling

Forwards: Sturridge, Rooney, Welbeck, Lambert, Rodriguez

Pretty much agree. Although I'd take Barry over Welbeck, Davies over Caulker or Shawcross and Forster over Butland.

Still think Cole will go to the World Cup though as in that team there's not much experience. Lampard and Carrick will be pretty much nailed on to go too.

No Carrick in your squad > i would take him, you need to keep the ball at the world cup, something that you fail to do at every tournament.

Lallana can do that and might even do something positive too.

That is why I would take Huddlestone. International football is made for him, he would be class.

Why do people want Caulker over Curtis Davies? Caulker has had a ****e season, Davies has had a brilliant one. No brainer for me.

Hope that you'll play a big role on next world cup. I think england has got a very good team and really should go for the cup although it will be difficult in south america.
Which formation would you prefer them to play?

    5 Liverpool players starting tonight.

Please Roy has had the balls to give it a go. Spain and Germany do.

Spain and Germany do it around Barca and Bayern. Around Liverpool is, with respect, a bit different.

True, but its not a bad idea considering we score buckets of goals in a midfield and strikeforce largely dominated by these players.

No way should Lambert or Rodriguez be going not good enough at international level.

    GK: Hart, Foster, Ruddy
LB: Baines, Shaw (Actually very difficult as Cole linked, tackled and crossed well tonight)
    CB: Cahill, Jags
CB: Smalling, Jones (terrible lack of options)
    RB: Johnson, Walker

    Mids:
    - Gerrard
    - Lallana
    - Sterling
    - Chamberlain
    - Milner
    - Barkley
    - Adam Johnson
    - Lampard or Whilshire!

    Forwards:
    - Sturridge
    - Rooney (bench)
    - Crouch
    - Welbeck

Lots of dipper players on v Denmark, and England were ****, so best not to take to many of them, if you want to get far in the comp.

He puts no effort in at all for England and hasn't done for a long time, so yes I'd start Sturridge on his own with Dwayne on the bench. Not a chance of it happening though
