You won't go down. Wall Barnsley Yeovil Are all much worse than you, and the way our T/O is going we could be liquidated.
Surly it would leave you with the very fan base you have been craving for, the "true fans" as all of those/us (I have not decided yet) who decide not to renew must by what I understand from your comments, be classed as plastics, who go as soon as we hit the hard times & so are not worthy of calling ourselves true fans. Thought you would be delighted as it proves all your posts have been right.
Getting quickly back on topic before we go back to referencing previous threads... it's shockingly sad but as mentioned here, our hope is lying in the fact that somehow there are at least 3, and arguably 5 (throwing Donny and Blackpool post-Tom Ince into the mix) that are as bad as us, and a record low points could keep us in this division. Hardly a reason to be ecstatic, but it's why we're currently probably marginal favourites to take the 21st spot. Given the competitiveness of the League last year, when with 5 or 6 games to go we weren't clear if we were battling relegation or pushing for the play-offs, that's something of a miracle. To the original question... I'd wait to see what happens in the summer as to whether to renew or just come along more sporadically. But in the end I probably would.
Talking of next season, CP says Polish Pete was signed with it in mind: http://valleytalkblog.com/2014/03/07/powell-piotr-parzyszek-earmarked-next-season/
