I've gone off HP a bit recently and I've no idea why. It's a bit of a concern to be honest, I might have to stop eating pork pies.
A friend of mine owns a local shop with some of the No To Hull Tigers postcards and badges in for people to pick up. Apparently there has been a very noticeable increase today in people calling in specifically to get them. I think EA's open letter has had the opposite effect to the one he wanted.
This, from Ehab's HDM letter, speaks volumes: "These markets have a natural affinity to the Tigers, which is already a major part of our 100-year heritage." If it ain't broke.......
7% of HCFC income, which has increased massively due to promotion to the PL. And your point is....what?
Supporters Direct ‏@SuppDirect Desperate stuff from @hullcityteam in today's @hulldailymail http://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/images/localworld/ugc-images/276270/binaries/EhabAllamLetter.pdf … The answer is still #NoToHullTigers
He talks about tiers or levels of corp sponsership. He thinks that if we change the name it will knock us up into the next tier. Lets say he isnt just making **** up. Anyone have any idea on the difference in money between the sponsership level that we are currently in and the next level?
There's no official tier system. The clubs that argue their case best get the best deals. We have the worst deals in almost every area but apparently it's all part of the grand plan or something.
They changed the recipe and its not made in the UK now , had some recently and it was really disgusting
Should have done this in the first place. Plus instead of a yes or no option A 3rd option of not happy but will accept it subject to major investment forthcoming. We all now wait for the FA.
Zilch new from mini Assem. Can he or anyone else quantify the inward investment that would come our way should the name change, as opposed to the inward investment we would get from staying as we are? If not, the pro name change argument is redundant. As regards trusting the current owners, I see nothing in their stewardship of my club so far that makes me think they can be trusted to run the club in a fit and proper way. They've said they are not football people. Now they're saying the money's finished. Sounds like time to sell up then.
Clearly there is not an official tier system. But lets pretend that we are at this current tier. What is the next level of corp sponsership at? Like, 2 mill more, 5 mill more etc.
It's (nearly) completely discrete. It goes up in pennies. The sponsorship received depends on what somebody will pay. Is somebody going to pay more for a club called "Hull City" with a nickname of "The Tigers" or a club called "Hull Tigers" with a nickname of .... what? ... "City"?
