Worst case scenario, we get relegated, lose ongoing TV money, income goes down rapidly against a £45m player wage bill, IF The FA also say no to the name change then Allam will be working v hard behind the scenes to recover his expenditure. If its anywhere near the reported c£90m he would be lucky to get it all out within the three years of parachute payments even allowing for a fire sale of players. Under those circumstances v little appeal with minimal assets to a buyer.

Allam could only get his money out by potentially selling in the Summer subject to us still being in the Premier League and that would be a big ask given we would at best financially be breaking even. The only upside for Allam at the mo is the higher than normal interest he appears to be claiming on his loans to the club; his funds have not been gifted to the club.

Even the cash that went in was in the form of loans from Allamhouse, so everything put in so far remains on our books as debt.

Can a mod point out that only a tard doesn't know when to use it's or its. And that if referring to a plural it should be they are just clutter in any case. Unless the reference was to the posts of one tard, in which case it would be the tard's posts.

No as I've explained before. It will cost over £4 million to put the club into administration in fees and legal costs. the administrator would decide on the price the club is sold for, say £15 million. He pockets the £4 million, pays all the football creditors and hands the balance to Allamhouse. Nice work thank you very much.

Assem Allam could write off his debt and sell the club himself for £20 million and pocket all the cash.

I wonder that if they got offered the stadium then this name change nonsense would just go away. I don't know enough about it but maybe the council could re-think their policy about this for the greater good and let them have it. I do know that the name change is not needed or necessary and support all attempts to stop it. Again I don't know enough about the Allams dealings with the council and vice-versa but there is a way out there maybe if some politicians and businessmen can swallow a bit of pride? As it stands for me we would be better off without them even if it hurt us a bit initially but if they want to recover their money then it seems like they can't just walk away.

Don't worry. If any flares land near you then you could beat them out with your tartan rug if your thermos has no liquid left in it.

I thought if a player was sold without asking to be then he was entitled to have his contract paid up.

if this is the case AA would lose significantly more money if he were to sell our better players, they are the ones on the bigger salaries

    £40k a week with 2 years left on a contract would be £4.16m. They'd lose a **** load.

Don't we get about £75M if we finish around were we are in the league this year? If so he can just pocket that and get his money back, can't he?

TWT - either we are going to have one angry owner or some angry fans.

Just remembered Obi and his mates have talked about a fans' (hope that is in the right place - the ') ownership of the club. So if Allam says he's going to sell then I presume Obi and said mates can put forward a financial deal to buy the club

.... and an owner like Ken Bates will come onto the scene and the downward spiral begins.
