You are wise enough to see that success/stability won't happen overnight but many aren't and can't be patient Diego.

A manager who is capabole and confident in his own abilty wouldnt care if Fergie followed him everywhere whipsering sadistic threats in his ear.

fergies pressence only effects **** managers, just like Busbys only effected the manager after him because he wasnt good enough.

The only way to resolve this would be to hire a better manager.

'If you go back to Sir Matt, he was probably in the same situation that I now find myself in today' says retiring boss

jose or Pep wouldnt have crumbled into some pile of ****. thats because they are winners.

Winners dont fail, they rise to the challenge.

Go back to the time before Utd confirmed Moyes as Fergie's successor and Charlton's remarks particularly about Maureen, Fergie made the choice, Fergie was/is a friend of Moyes, Fergie and Moyes have obviously spoken in private many times before Moyes became Everton manager.

So why would Moyes crumble in Fergie's presence but Maureen and Pep wouldn't?

The part I thought you'd bite on was that Maureen was never in the running for the Utd job(Moyes knew he had the job well before Fergie retired)and according to Bobby Charlton Maureen wasn't the kind of manager Utd wanted due to the controversy he brings about.
