Well, the 2014 Oscar season has come and gone, and the British Film Industry is keen to further enhance it's reputation, and have started planning for next year's ceremony. To that end they have sanctioned a remake of the 1960's classic Western,"THE MAN WHO SHOT LIBERTY VALLANCE",which starred such Hollywood legends as John Wayne,James Stewart, and Lee Marvin. The new film will be entitled - "THE MAN WHO SACKED MICHAEL LAUDRUP". Already signed up for the project are Michael Sheen, who is to play Michael Laudrup, and Sir Anthony Hopkins, who will play the challenging role of Huw Jenkins. "Jenkins makes Hannibal Lector seem half human",enthused Hopkins,"I'm really looking forward to getting my teeth into the role". The villain of the piece, played so effectively in the original film, by the late, great Lee Marvin, has yet to be cast, but is rumoured to come from a North Gower location. The film is to be shot in it's entirety on Caldey Island, and all the resident Monk's have already been signed up on short term contracts. Talk of a sequel has been put on hold, dependent on the success,or otherwise, of the venture.
