Same old ****. He's tried to write a coherent letter but ignores the fact his dad's been insulting us all season. He wants our undying support and trust without providing a reason to trust him, or even address the reasons not to.
I've been reliably informed that Kellogg's have offered us $100 million per year, and unlimited cereals at half time, if we change the name to the tigers and replace Roary with Tony. If will be a staged re-branding with us playing under the name Frosties FC by 2016. please log in to view this image Incidentally I wonder what FC Red Bull Salzburg thought about their re-branding?
The Allams can't make up their minds which is the better blackmail to use. First it was saying they will sell the club if they don't get the name change. Then it was that season passes will have to go up by 50%. Now they are reverting to the "we'll sell" blackmail. I doubt those that get a vote on the matter are even hearing the threats. All that's happening is the Allams are alienating themselves from the fans for no sensible reason.
How is it they're prepared to listen to sponsors and let them dictate how they run the Club but have come out and said they won't let the fans do that. The fans who are the lifeblood of any Club and sponsors who will run a mile if we're ever relegated. As it's been said above, they must think they can sell the Club with our historic name which to me proves there's no need for the change. Thanks for what you've done but if you feel you've taken us where you can then please sell.
An equity firm is probably the best we could hope for. Prepare to be stripped of whatever assets can be stripped, premier league money banked, and sold on a championship club without a senior player or penny to our name. Far more likely Allam won't be able to get his money back and will just carry on being even more of a **** because he's sour about his name change being rejected. Lose lose for us I'd say.
Far more likely to be sold to somebody who wants a Premier League club and build on the base that Steve Bruce has laid.
Which nugget is going to pay in excess of £100m for a club with no assets? No stadium, worthless training ground... Ain't gonna happen is it, unless it's some proper tool like QPR's current & previous regime or the venky's who want a new toy. No sane and sensible investor would find value for money bailing us out from the Allams, and the Allams certainly ain't gonna be prepared to take a hit on their investment. So where does that leave us? ******s, people looking for a quick quid, or no sale.
We'd probably get Vincent Tan's brother. Have City been particularly unlucky with owners or do all clubs end up with the same selection of egotists, incompetents, hustlers and fools? Are we not due a Jack Walker soon?
A potential buyer would pay what the club is worth not how much the seller has lent it. The sale negotiation will be all about how much of the £80 million debt to Allamhouse will be written off. Once the debt has been written off Hull City will have a decent Premier League squad, the TV income and virtually no debt. The new owner could sit down with the Council and discuss developing the area to bring in additional commercial income for the club. If they let the club decline by selling our players and getting relegated the value of the club falls further and it is less likely they will be able to sell.
Tell it to the FA Ehab I really don't see the point of this unless there actually is going to be a vote of all season ticket holders , even then it's pretty poor stuff
I can't see how they could have a ballot now, when votes have already been cast by ERCFA and others. The ballot result could mean that those opinions might change and we would have to start all over again. Yet another example of complete mismanagement by the owners.
Great idea by the Allam's to put an advert in the paper 1000's of fans don't use twitter or even the internet, and he can get his point across without people jumping on the comments bar trying to brain wash everybody. I think apart from the vocal minority on here and about 30% of the east stand, the rest of us want a successful club! In my humble opinion the Allam's are providing that and I hope they continue. love the scarves though. UTT
I like the idea that you can 'brain wash' people with comments in the HDM but Ehab is just putting his point across with the full page advert
The "vocal minority on here" want a successful football club too, but realise that changing the club name is not the right way to achieve it and could quite possibly be financially detrimental.
