First of all, let me say, i'm not having a go at him, i respect for what he did for us as well, i'm only asking a question, in my opinion, he is, he's telling the glazers not to sack Moyes because he doesn't want to be proved wrong and he's stubborn as well.
He's not having enough influence as you're going down like a sack of ****. He needs to stand tall and say he ****ed up with Moyes, put the bottle down and get the envelopes back out. Simple.
Well he'd look at bit of a twat if you sacked him now after his retirement speech when he told everyone to stick by the new manager.
The longer Moyes stays and performs like he currently is, the better Fergie looks - another theory. There are pros and cons to both sacking/keeping him.
You were telling us that we shouldnt sack Moyes because you knew he would come good. with that in mind, I believe it is infact YOU, who is entireley responsible for this mess at the club. How do you plead?
I dont think SAF cares if he looks a twat. Hes not afraid to say one thing and do the complete opposite then ask why the **** people have an issue with it. Gods can do that.
Well why don't you just accept that your god will keep Moyes at OT until his contract runs out and back him.
To be fair to Moyes at least he is handling his predicament with dignity, unlike KKK who championed racism in order to get Suarez to save his job
Jose and dignity go together like Chelsea and Quality Striker. is it not time for you to send your weekly death threat to Ovrebo and his family?
Stevie's from here(two dogz)and its common knowledge around these parts that the lad never wanted out he just had a Rooney moment but never put in a request like the Crocky **** who by the way had death threats from the manc Mafia.
Not enough influence if you ask me. He should walk into the dressing room whilst Moyes has nipped out for a piss or something and let the players know how ****e they have been all season and how much they have let him, themselves and everyone else down. Then threaten to kick the **** out of them all if they fail to perform as he knows they can. EDIT. In short the full hairdryer treatment as in his younger days
Moyes is still the right man. Transition period will take time, i mean which United fan actually thought we will win a league in Moyes's first season? There's alot of things to do, get rid of under performing players, sign new players especially in midfield. i remember saying to some of my workers in my job when the news came out Moyes is the manager that this season we will not win the title or even any trophy's. To the people all slacking Moyes, Moyes will prove them wrong. let the hater's laugh at us, their first time after many years, one bad season and everyone loses their minds saying Man Utd are finished, we've heard all this before especially when Chelsea won back to back titles with Mourinho's first spell in charge, i remember comments such as " Man Utd are finished, end of Man utd's success" stuffs liek that and in that period Sir Alex was rebuilding the team and then what happened? we came back. That's what will happen. New manager or what, Man Utd are Man Utd. we will come back strong again.
Quite right AV, many have been saying we have been in decline for the past 20 years. It`s a bit like Scousers saying "next year is our year", if you say it often enough and live long enough you will eventually be right, at least for one season
Thing is AV's post relates to when Fergie was Utd manager but Moyes ain't Fergie so there's no guarantee they'll be back, Utd had 26 years of "next year is our year" post Busby and pre Fergie and due to Fergie's not growing on trees Utd supporters might have another long wait heading their way.
Therein lies the problem but the stakes are too high now for the owners to allow faileur to last too long. There is a risk every time you employ a new manager, we have been lucky, this is our first risk in 26 years. I don`t believe we will be allowed to fail without change any longer than Nov/Dec 14. We will keep trying until we get it right but i don`t expect it to take more than 5 years if we have to go down this rout.
