Surely a petition is the nicest and most civilised way to show sentiment. If everyone could do as they please he'd probably have a house covered in **** and eggs. Admittedly, anything negative about any player is unlikely to be helpful but for most this is just a bit of fun borne out of frustration that such a phenomenally average player gets picked.

Cleverly is just not there yet, the injury didn't help. Shame for the lad as he was coming along nicely until then. But lets face it, not cutting it is not cutting it. The petition is stupid though Woy should also note that Cleverly has not earned a place at the finals.

That's true, he was looking to be a promising player in aroudn the days when we beat Arsenal 8-2 and then a big injury came, he was out for quite a few months, after that he was never the same. It's Woy's fault for picking Cleverley when he's in a poor form. The petition was a stupid thing to do, possibly created by some immature teenager
