Noel Gallagher does write ****e music, Oasis had a great first album and ever since, progressivley went down hill.

Noel seems like a decent bloke, and even he knows he's winged a career out of a great first album and an image.

Their second album wasn't as good as the first, then he tried to be the Beetles.

Bottom line is that Noel Gallagher wrote an album (Definitely Maybe) that can be talked about in the same breath as any album ever made by anyone . Even snooty up-their-own-arse music critics agree with that.

Blur and James never did and never will.
