From what I understood the FA requested as many teams play in solid colours as would comply for better TV coverage. Hence England is playing in all white. Kits will be plainer this year compared with previous tournaments.
I'm torn. Naturally I want England to win. However if England win Roy will probably be knighted and for the next 50 years we'll be hearing about how Roy masterminded our 2014 campaign. Just the thought makes me want to vomit. Fortunately little worry about that.
Its less colourful than their usual flourescent pink yellow and orange hybrids of cups from my youth.

They're busy... but I usually like Croatias tops top. In Football Manager when I create my own team "my name"pool. My home kits are based on the Croatia checks. Black background with red checks. Black shorts and red socks. I change Man Utd to fluorescent pink kits reduce old trafford to 5 fan capacity and make them crumble from debt.
Never had a issue with Roy. He shouldn't have been appointed Liverpool manager and you can't blame him for taking the opportunity once present to him. Obviously wasn't happy with some of the things he said whilst in charge but that's his way, as I said, he shouldn't have been given the chance.
