Why not. I have a season ticket and travel up from Pompey. Just because I cant go to this particular game means that I shouldn't get a final ticket if we get there, according to you?
I didn't say that you shouldn't be allowed a ticket . What I actually said is tickets are available for the home quarter final so if you don't go then don't be expecting a ticket for wembley . If you have been to any previous round at all you should be eligible for a ticket , I'm talking about people who don't go to any games and then expect a wembley ticket . We really should be selling all tickets for this game
Don't worry, this sort of thing is the norm. The name calling & the scrapping amongst ourselves should fizzle out by Thursday evening/ Friday. Then maybe we can get to talking about the match.
Hopefully we have given the entire North Stand to Sunderland fans who will WILL fill it. No stupid segregation for a change. But it is only tuesday so loads of time yet.
Well I've got cup fever, the prospect of getting through to an FA Cup Semi-Final and thrashing Sheff Utd at Wembley would be close to the pinacle of our City supporting lives so far.
I've calmed down a bit. I wasn't happy with the price as I knew that would turn people off coming. I've also remembered I may not be at Wembley if we get there. I booked a trip to Hamburg ages ago, and that lands on the same date. Gutted.
Yes, I do actually, Newland, do you? And if we get to Wembley I would expect to get a ticket as I am a season ticket holder. Will that do?
If you were pissed off with the number of barcodes in the home areas of the North stand on Saturday, prepare yourself for this weekend. The mackems will be filling their boots now the tickets are on general sale.........mind you I'm looking forward to watching our stewards attempting to eject them (as per the statement on our ticketing website), but I won't hold my breath!
Sad to say Sunderland are a well supported club , we on the other hand are struggling to sell-out a very rare home quarter final in the FA Cup
So they won't pay £20 for this game but will pay £60 to over a £100 plus travelling costs for a Wembley ticket? If we can't sell this out it would be better if we went out and left it to clubs with proper support. The Blunts and Charlton game will get more for a clash of Championship Clubs with a 12 o' clock kick off than we will get for a game where the away allocation is sold out. Pathetic.
Man City and Sunderland got over 31,000 tickets each for last weekends final and that doesn't include those who went in Club Wembley.
Yes, but that is irrelevant as it was not the FACup, for which the clubs only get 25,000 tickets each.
We have proper passionate fans but not enough all the ones going on Sunday to me are the keen passionate fans. Fair enough there are people who cannot afford it but the one's who can but want to sit in the living room watching it on the tv well have they really got that fire in there belly's desperate for us to win and to be there and support the team I wonder?
