Just been on the website to buy two tickets, there's **** tonnes left. Seems some season ticket holders haven't taken the chance yet or wanted different seats. (I only waited to get me and the missus one as I only have my season ticket)
I tried to use the website yesterday, wouldn't work. **** it was Had ring, at work, being on hold for 15 mins. Covert operation it was.
I got my season ticket seat a few days ago I'm sure it will sell out, I know a few season pass holders who want to move to a diff seat for this game but they couldn't buy them till today
Pass holders in queue today - some who "didn't know" they could get tickets last week or moaned because club shop closed at 2pm on Saturday. Got an extra ticket today for a seat I know is usually occupied by a pass holder - their loss.
i don't think it will sell out although i hope it does the reason i am saying that is that i know three pass holders who are not going although i know half a dozen who are but if that's the general rule then it would mean a third of pass holders will not be going which would mean around 5 to 6 thousand will not. of course that may not be the case but if it is i would think you would be looking at a gate of around 20,000
Anybody who wants to go to this game can get a ticket no excuses , I agree if you don't go to this then don't be expecting to get a wembley ticket ( in the event we get there )
Small queue (20 maybe?) at the ticket office this morning an hour before they opened. This games needs some publicity. I've yet to hear a mention of it from the usual local media outlets. Are the club planning anything to boost support ?
Sone Season card holders have been wanting extra tickets (so says the ticket office) so have to wait until they go on general sale today. Expect the rush to start now anyone can buy them. Something sadly wrong if not a sell out.
If you go on the website and look at ticket sales then is around 1600 left in the East stand and the south stand looks around half full, i didn't even look at the West stand but there is no way it will sell out. if we are lucky it might get close to 20,000 but that might be a doubt which is a shame but too many are watching it on tv I'm afraid. I will be there and i will just have to shout twice as loud. The way i look at Wembley if we got there is simple if we did draw one of the championship teams and people thought we had a great chance of getting to the final then would people go or would they think i would save the money for the final because in my view i think we would take 35000 to the final but nearer 20000 for the semi.
Sometimes there are reasons for not taking up your seats, we went to the Brighton replay and would go to this but the reason we are not is that we are in London for the weekend. Why are we in London? we have family there and try to arrange visits around City games so we can go watch them down there and support the lads, since we had WetSpam this weekend we chose that before we knew about the cup game. The rail tickets, hotel and a dinner cruise are non refundable and cannot be changed. So given we buy a season card, go to some away games and went to a poorly attended Brighton game, for you to say just because we cannot get to this particular game we should not be allowed to get a ticket for Wembley (if we get there) is a bit rich! particulary when the reason is bacause we wanted to support them anyway
