Salah was a strange one given he's going to Chelsea and plays in a position which is arguably their strongest area.

Was sort of surprised Mourinho went for him and didn't go for a top striker to help cement their challenge on the top. I'm sure it's not, but just seems like another play they've brought so their rivals couldn't....

I'm sure he'll be happy with his medals if they win anything though, well... if he plays enough games that is which at the moment is looking unlikely given he's cup tied for CL and only has 10 more games to make 9 more appearances to qualify for a Prem medal.

If Liverpool finish the season 5 points or closer to Chelsea- Mourinho will say it was an inspired buy.

I don't know how much Salah would have affected our team- I still haven't seen him play. But, if we finish just a few points behind Chelsea off the top- Chelsea can point to that signing as a nice little investment. They have the money to buy the title away from people by buying their targets.

We are being linked with Vertonghen if Spurs do not get CL. Does anyone rate him, seems a bit slow to me.

Need a RCB - we have Sakho & Agger for the left as BR doesn't like playing 2 left footed CB's in the team by the looks of it so can't see that happening.

How the worm has turned eh?

Spurs are now subject to the vultures in the press, vertongen is quality IMO but as others alluded to.... Expensive and we have two in his position

As for salah? We have not needed anyone so far so I don't see him influencing the title any..... Right now the chavs are top but won't win it

attitude for me, he should be doing all he can to get spuds back in it, not run at the first chance, don't want or like players like that how ever good they may be, as for me it shows no loyalty, he will just turn into another johnson in not give a **** as he is on good money.

Suarez? Wouldn't trade Suarez for anyone now. He tried to bolt in the summer after we failed to get CL.

well obviously there are some people that rule don't apply to, get your point though.

sounds like wages more than anything with suarez, but he is one of the best players in the world and you do all you can to keep him, spurs had that with bale before he eventually went same with the mancs with ronaldo, vertogen(spelling) isnt that good.

although be interesting to see where he would come in peoples top cb in the prem.

He is up there for me but I think he would be much better with a top RCB. Kompany and Vertonghan for example, that would be class. Terry and Vertonghan, etc.

It's simple the guy would be in most lists of top 5/10 cbs in prem.... Skertl? Not so much

  13. People rate Vertonghen (sp) fpr the same reason as Agger; he scored a couple of goals early on. Same for Vermeleam (sp)

Was Levy around when we bought Keane? When Carrick went to United? Campbell to Arsenal? Don't think he was but it has happened before. Same with us.

  16. Campbell was put pf contract so Spurs had no say.

Berbatov to Man Utd? Defoe to Portsmouth?

Yes he was,but since Modric he decided not to sell players to P/L rivals, that's why Modric ended up at Real, and not Chelsea

    Que?

I think Vertonghen is a good player but not sure he'd suit the way we play. Despite the criticism Skrtel gets he's damn quick for a central defender. Most of the time our centre halfs are covering their own positions and the full backs too and for me JV is much more adept in a flatter more traditional back four.
