Enrique looks like he has been sent to America to see a specialist so no idea when he will be back.

Hey, if Johnson comes back the player of last season I for one will rejoice. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt hat he's been carrying injuries for six months, and if this rest has done him good that's great. 29 is too young to suddenly go ****e.

Liverpool received a double boost on Thursday as Brendan Rodgers confirmed that defensive midfielder Lucas Leiva and defender Mamadou Sakho have both returned to training at Melwood.

The former has missed six weeks with a knee injury picked up against Aston Villa last month, while the latter has been out of competitive action since suffering a hamstring problem at Chelsea in December.

Saturday's trip to Southampton in the Barclays Premier League will arrive too early for Lucas, but his French teammate will be assessed before a final decision is made on his potential participation.

Rodgers told reporters today: "We've obviously had a couple of players return to training. Young Sakho has trained this week, which has been great. We'll see if it's too early for him this weekend.

"And Lucas Leiva rejoined the group today, which was great. Jose Enrique is still out, but apart from that we don't have any major injuries now."

The Northern Irishman was asked for more details on Enrique's situation - the Spaniard has not featured since the beginning of November - and provided the latest news.

"It has just been ongoing," Rodgers responded. "He has obviously got the issue with his knee; he has come back after a good spell in America.

"He is rehabilitating well here. There's no timeline on it. I trust the medical team here, they are very good, and they'll advise me when he's nearly fit."

13. Not great news ATM. I have a swollen ankle after being studded on Friday, also carrying a dead leg but that's dying off now and the tendons in my knee are painful. All three being the right leg too. However, not to worry, I'll still be playing tomorrow :)

Jack Wilshere: Arsenal & England midfielder out for six weeks
Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere will be sidelined for at least six weeks after fracturing his left foot.

The 22-year-old sustained the injury in a challenge with Liverpool's Daniel Agger in the 12th minute of England's 1-0 friendly victory over Denmark.

However, he played on until the 59th minute of Wednesday's match at Wembley.

Wilshere will miss Saturday's FA Cup quarter-final with Everton and Tuesday's Champions League last-16 second-leg tie against Bayern Munich.

Arsenal's busy schedule
•8 March Everton (FA Cup, home)
•11 March Bayern Munich (Champions League, away)
•16 March Tottenham (away)
•22 March Chelsea (away)
•25 March Swansea (home)
•29 March Manchester City (home)
•6 April Everton (away)
•13 April West Ham (home)
•19 April Hull City (away)

Arsenal then have a north London derby with Tottenham at White Hart Lane the following Sunday and also play fellow title contenders Chelsea and Manchester City before the end of the month.

It was initially thought Wilshere had escaped serious damage after the Football Association carried out scans on Wednesday evening.

It emerged the fracture was so miniscule that the scanning equipment inside Wembley Stadium failed to detect it when the midfielder left the pitch.

A further examination by his club on Thursday discovered a crack in the navicular bone, which runs along the top of the foot.

The news will no doubt have been a huge surprise to Wilshere, who confidently told reporters after the Denmark match that he was fine before speaking of his desire to finish the season strongly with Arsenal.

"It is a bit sore, but just a bruise," he said. "I have had a scan already and I will be all right."

Arsenal will be compensated for the injury as part of the FA's insurance policy, and will not have to pay for Wilshere's wages while he is on the sidelines.

Wilshere's career has been hampered by injuries, including a stress fracture of his right ankle that ruled him out for the 2011-12 campaign and forced him to miss Euro 2012.

He has played 41 games for club and country this season, but in December he served a two-game suspension for an abusive hand gesture.

Television pictures appeared to show him raising a finger towards the crowd during the 6-3 defeat by Manchester City

16. The ankle is clearing up now but both are a bit achy ATM. I still have the twisted knee. Managed to slice the end of my little finger off on Sunday afternoon whilst peeling the potatoes <doh>
