I'm 44. I can't honestly remember the scum having any glory years. Yet I can remember '73. Winning counts. Also rans???? Nah, that's not glory.
I have a question..... Would you rather have Shola sitting on the bench or N'Gog starting every game?
N`Gog starting every game. (but then i think i am the only one on here that thinks he may surprise us lol ) (in a good way)
Impossible to answer on N'Gog I haven't seen him play for Sunderland yet. A park bench is the best place for Shola mind.
I meant by their standards You know, that could be true, but then if we didn't have about 7 of our players we might have finished 4th
Well N'Gog have has goals from 119 apps. What would your expectation of him be over a season, even if you used him as a sub, kept Gyan and bought Crouch? Premier League Goals Last Season: Crouch 4 from 29 apps Gyan 10 from 30 apps. These people are hardly Luiz Adriano.
Seriously no idea mate. He sometimes looks like he has a bit about him, but then more often he looks absolute dog ****. I'll hope that a run of games may bring the best out of him, if he was to play the season and get 10-12, and Gyan 15-18, we'd be doing ok. It's not unrealistic, we'll have to see. I don't want Crouch, i think it'd be a horrific buy for us.
Demba Dodgy knee where did this 38 million figure come from? It seems we spent that fee once under Keane several years ago and now Newcastle fans quote it every summer because its easier to make sweeping statements than actually bothering to research. We bought Gyan for 13 Million last summer and he was our only major outlay. We also sold Jones for 8mill.
I didn't say guess, I asked what your expectations would be, all players have some level of this when joining a new club. He's scored around 1 in 6, would you be satisfied with that?
agreed! Plus Crouch plays for Tottenham. If you attempt to buy a player from them and Daniel Levy will try to rip you off.
Going on a fishing trip with no bait is about as pointless as thinking Fat Mike has Newcastles best interests at heart.
