I know it's a bit early but does anyone know how many loyalty points will be needed for this game?(roughly)

Also is anyone on here planning on going? I think we get about 3000 tickets don't we?

3100 tickets. Roughly about 30 loyalty points, that's as low as it will go I think.

Wouldn't have thought it would go as low as 30 for this one. Especially as it's so early in the season.

Being early in the season is an advantage to those with low points. After beating them 5-1, everyone wanted a ticket and it went down to 30.

Why is being early in the season an advantage for people with lower points?

If they get their targets. I'm struggling to find their strongest position.

Shakhtar - I'm not underestimating them, it will be a very tough game, one in which a draw is a good result. Look at when Sunderland were laughing at us last season...

Holidays...just look at our attendances in August, shocking. Most will cancel to be fair though. If you have less than 30 points, start praying.

A lot of people are in the same situation as you and would have been hoping for Sunderland away to be towards the end of the season so they could build up their points.

Im not underestimating them either, who know's what will happen. On their day's, allot of those players can be top notch. However, Sunderland will be retaining allot of their players from last season and they some of the most spineless player's in the league. They give up too easy and knock their own confidence.

You'll get one cheaper for being 16, probably about £25 I think.

Gutted that I'm going to miss this one like, I can't even do a 'mackem special' and watch it in the pub/house as I'll be working away. Hope we bugger them though!
