Hang on, I've also Mossy Joe and a couple of token English ones too <laugh> I'm hugely confident he'll hit 4 and looking at your portfolio you seem to agree ;)

    Nothing much this year, ante-post punting has never been a happy hunting ground for me. Just these;

    Sire De Grugy 11/4
    Al Ferof, Ryanair, 11/2
    Cue Card, GC, 8/1
    Broughton, Triumph, 16/1
    MTOY 11/2, but that's just a saver.

How did you get 8/1 on THE NEW ONE then Boris, you never mentioned him on here until he was 7/2 and even then you were waiting until nearer the time!

Did I ever tell you that I backed him to win at last years Festival at 14-1?

I think you told the full internet Stick ;)

After the Aintree Hurdle last year I knew he was the Champion hurdler, backed him at 8s not long before first run at Kempton.

Been waiting for 7/2 or 4/1 the night before for a serious bet though.

Last years Festival prices don't matter this year Stick old boy!

I've taken a battering ante post this year. Over £1000 of bets not running.

Faugheen and Briar Hill at 14/1 all the way down for the right races in each way singles and doubles hopefully will mean I'm not arsed.

    TNO at 8/1 but I don't think he'll win.

Champagne Fever and Felix Yonger in both races at 8/1 down and doubles.

There's a few others but those bets don't compare. It all revolves around the these two bloody novice hurdlers for me.

8/1 TNO isn't that great really, he was 14/1 with William Hill immediately after the Neptune last year. Just saying...<whistle>

You would all be having a saver on him now if you could get 8-1 1,2,3 and no mistake!

A lot can happen in 12 months, 8/1 at the start of the jump season knowing the horse was going the 2 mile route is a better bet than 14/1 a year before the race after winning a 2m5 race.

The only antepost bet I was interested in the immediate aftermath of Cheltenham was 3/1 Dawn Approach for the Guineas.

I like your thinking on the double every week Stick with TNO & AFC. The more i look at it the more i fancy AFC again(i lost faith after the long walk) and AP did state that whoever beats him will be winning.

This is my first year touching the Ante Post Market and i have only had a couple of serious single bets. The rest are more fun multiples for smaller stakes.

    Grand Vision - Pertemps @ 25/1
    Melodic Rendezvous - Champ Hurdle @ 50/1, 40/1, 33/1

    Trixie
    Rutherglen - Triumph @ 20/1
    Taquin Du Seuil - JLT @ 10/1
    Dodging Bullets - Arkle @ 6/1

    Yankee(NRNB)
    Carlingford Lough - RSA @ 9/1
    Taquin Du Seiul - JLT @ 7/1
    Ted Veale - Grand Annual @ 6/1
    Lac Fontana - County Hurdle @ 12/1

I admire your confidence with this horse even though I have no idea where it comes from at least you're standing by it but I wouldn't take double the price you got I just can't see him getting in the top three at the expense of MTOY, Our Conor and HF

Yeah my Ante-post portfolio shows a lot of NRs. Fotunately in all but one case I have NRNB or NRFB:

    1pt EW:
Moyle Park - Supreme 25/1 NRFB......... Free bet
Sizing Europe - Champion Chase 25/1.......Might actually happen
    Gemix - World Hurdle 14/1 NRFB.......Free bet

    2pts Win:
    Mossey Joe - Foxhunters 4/1ish NRNB....Money Back

    2pts EW:
Kumbeshwar - Grand Annual 33/1.....Why did I not take this with BetVictor?
Legacy Gold - Martin Pipe 20/1 NRFB.....Could run. Probably won't.
Green Flag - RSA 100/1.... Should run and I've been convinced that this is a good price.

    5pts Win:
Annie Power - Champion Hurdle 8/1 NRNB.... Money Back
Big Bucks - World Hurdle 2/1 NRNB.... Hopefully a winner

    Massive bet for me:
Cue Card - Champion Chase 6/1 NRNB.... Money Back (Tizzards ruled him out the next sodding day. BetVictor have had quite a sizeable chunk of my cash for quite a long time now.)

As you can see, mostly miss and miss. But I don't mind having lots of NR's with NRNB or NRFB concessions. Ante-post betting is fun, so long as you stick with those terms. Kumbeshwar and Green Flag are the only bets I've ever had antepost without NRNB I think, and they were because I was convinced they were runners (Kumbeshwar. Ugh.) and the price discrepancy was massive.
