Not my style. I just can't fathom some mags' attitude to the League Cup. OK, you wouldn't want us to win, obviously, but there's some on here who seem to think that getting to the final and losing it is a waste of time and effort. There's even one gimp who calls it the "Mickey Mouse Cup", which is plain daft. It's obviously the lesser of the domestic trophies on offer, but you may have noticed that the City players and fans were rather chuffed to win it. I'm mightily pissed off not to have won, but I'd rather get to the final and lose than not get there at all. And as for getting excited by a run in the FA Cup? Owt wrong with that?

Nah mate. Had a skinful in the pub yesterday, so I went to bed early and slept like a baby. Full of beans ATM although I have to get me stuff ready for work in a minute.

That cup is massively devalued as most clubs put dog end teams out or the kids.
The FA Cup has the prestige but give me the Europa over the cc cup any day.

The Europa's good for getting some games in Europe. But it's far too bloody long and knackers all but the biggest squads. Look at Spurs against Norwich. If that happens to them, what would it do to you or us? I'd take a League Cup wini any day, followed by a short run in Europe as a result, before a home and away against a glamour club. Milan, perhaps...?

You keep coming up with things though! The riots, the headbutt, the horse-puncher, the boycoutt, JFK, the derbies (assuming we stay up!), the list is endless...

I can confirm that I have seen at least 1 mackem in Milan. I went there with the lads a few years back for a footy weekend away, one of whom was a Mackem....and we went to Milan. We went to the San Siro and watched Inter (2010 Champions League winners) get humped by Empoli. It was an awful awful game.
