    Hello everyone,

I thought it might be interesting to see where you guys have been around the globe!

I've always enjoyed making my way around, so fairly happy with where I've managed to go so far.

I've got plans of making a trip to Iceland, Brazil and Japan before 2016, sort of a bucket list :p

Would probably say that I've enjoyed Spain, The Netherlands, The US and Hungary (big surprise) the most so far.

You can get your map on this site http://www.traveltip.org/countries_visited.php

Just right click on the map when you're done, press "copy image url" and thereafter "insert image" on here, in which you copy the url into "From url"

    Your turn!

I did it but when I tried to post it on here there was an error, hoping to go inter-railing in the summer so should cross off a few more in Europe

It might look like a lot, but usually my trips have consisted of multiple countries. The three in Asia was one trip, as was USA/Cuba.

It doesn't seem to appear on the map (presumably because it's so small) but I have been to Hong Kong as well.

And yes, I have been to Qatar. Nothing but sand.

    Hehe, mine's ****.

So many places I want to see, but it's a difficulty with work committments and cash flow at times.

Just today I've been trying to price up a city break somewhere in Europe for my 30th in April, and my girlfriend is pleading poverty already and can't afford to take much time off work.

It seems aspirations of Berlin, or Prague, or Vienna are likely to be replaced with Dublin.

    Ah well.

    There's no option for Antarctica.

    Spent months there.

Not through choice mind. It's a grim place.

Bin to South Georgia. That's grim too.

In fact most places are a bit ****.

Stay at home, that's my advice.

    Ireland's nice mind.

    County Kildare. Lovely.

As long as you like a potato.

    Which I do.

Better than seals, penguins and dogs, I can tell you.

Done most of my travelling in far flung places.

Was lucky that I worked for the cruise lines, mostly in Asia, Pacific, Alaska, Canada & Caribbean.

So, been to lots of places, but some not for very long.

As an alleged 19 year old could perhaps post what you haven't done to save us all a load of time.

I really, really do. Was going to fly to Copenhagen and get the bus across to Malmo last April but it was going to be cold so I went to Carcassonne, Andorra and Nimes instead.

Living in London (and working at a university for that matter) brings you into contact with people from all over (am buinding up a good network of people who will offer me guidance and lodgings across most of south-east asia). If I instead draw the map from the perspective of friends and acquantainces places of birth:
