You've got to love ER and Mick - when i take my nieces and nephews to the pictures there's no way I'm coming on here and telling everyone about the film as a) it's guranteed to have people ripping the piss and b) revisiting the 2 hours of wasted life would be too traumatic. Those two - no bother
I completely slept through The Lego Movie (due, in part, to the 40 minutes of pre-movie adverts at the Liverpool Odeon) - and apparently that was actually good
The worst thing about being a parent or an uncle is having to put up with all the garbage music, TV, books and films that kids like. Now and again, not often admittedly, I genuinely feel very sorry for parents!
Yeah, The Lego Movie is pretty damn good. If all the Lego pieces in the world were shared out, each and every person would have 86. Fact. The best kids' film I have seen in years is Para-Norman. Absolute genius.
Frankenweenie was excellent, as was Coraline. Thoroughly enjoyed the Lego movie too. Kids movies are cool.
There's a plus side though when they get older. When my son was a teenager, he introduced me to all sorts of TV shows, music and movies that would otherwise have passed me by.
