I can play ****e in 11 positions, get me to the world cup! I don't know what happened above there in the quotes, I meant to quote Andy's post about utility players. What a clown shoe mistake.
I'm afraid this post plus the one last night has lead me to think you may have the onset of clown shoe mongness. #prayforHeisenberg
I believe the point you were making was that it was good to have smalling, jones and jagielka as they are versatile. My point is that they are ****e in a number of positions.
Yes. I've had it a few times. You just need to go the chemists and get some ointment. Apply twice daily and you'll be right as rain in no time.
I haven't mentioned Smalling. I think he's **** and shouldn't go. Jagielka is our second best centre half at the moment. He should be starting because he's a very good player. Jones should be taken because in the event of injury or suspension he can fill 3 positions. I think even you can see that it's better to have one player who can cover 3 positions than 3 players who can cover 3 positions. Get it?
I frankly have no idea why anyone takes your opinions seriously on here. In fact I have no idea why you are continually on here at all. You have been knocking Curtis Davies since the day he signed for us based on some half assed opinion of how he played at Birmingham. On the other hand you seem to believe that sunshine shines out of Jagielka's ass. Do you know anything about Davies and how he has played this year. He is far and away our best and most consistent player. His stats are far superior to any other English CH....including Jagielka. Why don't you confine your opinions to the Leicester board. I don't think anyone will miss them on here. Normally I ignore you but your putting down of Davies has crossed the line as far as I'm concerned.
This was being debated on Talksport last night and there was a Hammers fan on going beserk as to how Cleverly gets picked over Huddlestone. Think Roy has lost the plot.
Hmm if Lallana and Barkley make the World Cup squad, I stand to win £1,500... I have a fair good chance, right? Anyways, I basically agree with all your comments above. And sure, we could swap Smalling for Davies and Cleverly for Thud... But we're still ****e The England squad has been a joke for years. We constantly pick names, rather than how players are actually doing, and this is what frustrates. Ashley Cole still gets in... How? Has he even played this year? Plus we have Baines and Shaw, so we already have 2 left-backs. Why do we need 3? What a waste of a spot. It's a friendly! And that's just the start... Lampard still there, why!? Milner hardly playing for his club. Townsend... A) He's had one game since coming back from injury, B) He's ****e anyway... Defoe... Why bother? By the time the World Cup rolls around, he'd have had 3 months of playing in the mighty MLS. Welbeck... Really? Again, A) He's not even playing for his club, B) He's ****e anyway... Seeing the England squad is just so uninspiring. And while we have so many foreign owners in the Premier League, so many foreign managers who couldn't give a stuff about English football, and no rules on homegrown players, nothing will ever change... For example, Man City vs Barcelona in the Champions League: Man City fielded 1 English player in their starting 11 (and that was Joe Hart) Barcelona fielded 7 Spanish And we wonder why Spain are light-years ahead of us in footballing terms?
Don't worry everyone - I am sure we will definitely get to see Davies playing outstanding football at Euro 2016.............................in a green jersey!!!!!!!
I think its a total scandal that Davies and Huddletone have missed out on England call ups. Curtis especially as Mr consistent shouldhave made it. Once again it is the inept attitude in always looking at the favoured bigger boys. Maybe, just maybe a "cup final" might change thire mind, although I wwon't hold my breath.
Footy Humour ‏@FootyHumour Cleverley, Smalling and Welbeck in England squad. Juan Mata, David Villa and Isco not in Spain squad. Says it all.
I've not even mentioned Davies you soppy clown shoe. My opinion comes from his time spent at Leicester actually, but i'm open minded enough to see that he's improved dramatically. He's a very good player but I don't think he's good enough to start games for England because Cahill and Jagielka are better. Pretty much everyone can see that. Don't know where you got the "you think the sun shines out of Jagielka's arse" thing from. I think he's a very good player which is why he captains one of the best sides in the league.
Jagielka is better than Davies, even with rose tinted specs on. If Terry isn't going, I'd probably say Davies has been 3rd best Englishman this season. Davies' stats are excellent, but bare in mind when compared next to the likes of Cahill, Jagielka, Terry or any others at top clubs, we are under the cosh and defending a hell of a lot more than them so Davies is bound to rack up a far higher total of tackles, headers won, interceptions etc.
Read this and wise up, Roy: http://www.squawka.com/news/2014/03/01/remy-v-davies-hull-newcastle-key-battle/2014030176267?
Just a well that Curtis Davies has been overlooked. He would have been pulled out of the England squad now by all accounts due to his ankle injury.
