Can't believe that "Frozen" beat "Despicable Me II" to the best animated feature at the back slapping nauseating Oscars last night.

Frozen was good but Despicable Me II was fantastic.

I think 12 Years A Darkie Slave won best picture.

It's very arty and to be honest, as a commentary on the evils of slavery, it does not do a great job.

 

The good ol' US of A's slavery guilt still alive and kicking.

 

That's exactly what it is in my opinion. The Yanks want to show how outraged they still are about slavery so what better way to do it than to give an Oscar for "Best" Film to a very average movie on the topic.

 

Were all the main slave owners played by British actors?
