Hi guys. Seen this doing the rounds on twitter and thought I would share it with you. Obviously it means nothing but if I was looking at a projected final table for my league and seeing my team finishing safe, it would cheer me up. So thought I share your table Here is the points per game table, showing how League One will finish if all teams carry on their current PPG ratios! please log in to view this image
like i said p49, survival would cheer me up. wouldnt it cheer you up p49? im sure the reds on here would rather see survival than a table showing them in bottom 4 - relegated
That table will change with every game played. Because suppose a team below the relegation line win a game in hand, that will positively alter their points per game average. Thus, even if they were still below us at present because of fewer games played, the other side would be above City at the end of the season on the basis of a final table based on points per game now! It is not about past averages but points gained from now. Thanks CJS for trying to comfort us but whichever way we look at it, we are still very close to the brown stuff for anyone to feel complacent. PS. It's good to see BRFC are edging themselves away from trouble. Enjoy the rest of the season.
exactly what i said at the start, this table obviously means nothing really i think you will be safe by a good 5 points thanks, things are looking up for us now we got all players back from injury where we could get rid of them and bring in players that we need. ward has been stuck relying on youth until we can get rid of deadwood in the injury room. shame we can start the season from now!!
That was a nice side swipe from a "gashead" at the bottom part of the 4th tier with the nerve to say we need cheering up, thanks cjs our thoughts are with you.
flipping hell wiz. no side swipe and no swipe at all. thought we were passed all this stuff. i was being nice showing you all something that i didnt believe you had seen yet. sorry for trying to build a bit of positivity amongst some of your doom and gloomers. i been nothing but respectful yet you still cant accept me for trying and always seem to think there is a wum or swipe at you or your club. i guess some things never change. for the record we may be 4th tier but we dont need cheering up. we have the 3rd best home record in our league and the 4th best defensive record in our league. although we are obviously the WORST team in our league away from home - our defensive record and home record will keep us safe. our performances are improving too and are on a good unbeaten form. so we are progressing and therefore dont need cheering up. take this as a bite if you wish. and you would be right to think it is. you got a bite. such a shame you want a bite instead of repaying the compliment like cidered above. mods, feel free to delete this thread. i have no interest in wumming your board believe it or not so if you feel i am wumming then get rid of this thread as its not my intention. thanks
To be completly honest i hope both sides stay up,but Bristol football is in a right mess at present. Both playing poorly, both having stadium nock backs,i really do wonder where it will all end.
add reality like since game 23!......... when City would be in 21st Notts at 20th and SHEFF AND Gills in the low 60 points!!!
Sensitive, very sensitive, did you not read the 2nd half of my comment - I know you have moved on and have the best interests of Bristol City FC at heart but as you have said many times over the years," Once a "gashead", always a "gashead" and for that I can not fault you. Keep it up me ol' mucker..
thanks cidered, red robin & johngalley shame about the rest. if this was a wum thread then i would understand some of the crap but on a thread that i was being positive for you, i just think some crap has been uncalled for. oh well, my objective is complete, give some on here a bit of hope. still, its a shame.
A "gashead" giving us a bit of hope on our own forum, that's nice but how patronising is that, ah well, his objective is now complete...
First the platitudes, second the frustration, third the insults, I guess some things never change, ah well.
