Will probably make my first trip over to Hull after the summer (with my Swedish posse):emoticon-0102-bigsm. But which game should I pick?

    Sat 6 15:00 H Blackpool FLC
    Sat 20 15:00 H Crystal Palace FLC
    Sat 27 15:00 H Reading FLC
    September
    Sat 17 15:00 H Portsmouth FLC

    October
    Sat 1 15:00 H Cardiff City FLC
    Tue 18 19:45 H Birmingham FLC
    Sat 22 15:00 H Watford FLC

    November
Sat 5 15:00 H West Ham Utd FLC
    Sat 26 15:00 H Burnley FLC

    December
    Sat 3 15:00 H Leicester City FLC
    Sat 17 15:00 H Millwall FLC

Or should I travel to an away game in London or such, in which you actually don't need to travel half the freaking world too get to (Hull aint that easy to reach from Sweden) Not one single away game in London during the autumn though :embarrassed:

How much does it cost you guys to travel from London to Hull? (OLM should know?)
If Hull, where should we stay during the two nights? (As cheap as possible, but I prefer if the place is reasonably decent <cheers>
What does a ticket usually cost?

    ETC <party>

Ye do Blackpool, Palace will be good if they bring the same support as last time. There is a new Travelodge in Hull city centre which are reasonable if you book em early doors!

There isn't anywhere decent to stay in Hull. If you've never been before, lower your expectations.

I'll take you round on a Saturday night though <devil>

If you're coming to the KC, I'd pick a game that will have decent away support, so there's a good atmosphere, either West Ham or Leicester.

I remember us looking at this before, but I can't remember if there was an issue, is it not easier for you to go to Manchester? (it's much nearer to Hull than London, though there are direct trains from both - I never get the train, so I don't know how much it is, but my daughters about to get back from Uni, I'll ask her)

If you want somewhere handy, the Holiday Inn Express is in the city centre, next to the train station and close to the ground, it's also new so will be decent and it's about £50 a night.

The match ticket will be somewhere around £25(I can't remember if the prices have actually been confirmed yet).

There is absolutely no reason why you should pay anything more than £10 to get to Hull on a megabus if you book it in advance, if you are lucky you might get it for less than £5

The train you are looking at about 35 quid probably for a return at the cheapest expect it to be more around 45 though it really depends on the times.

If you're not fussed about the level of accommodation you could always stop at the Campernile near Paragon Station ....£36 for a room between two people and after a few bevies all you want is a bed anyway

1/ You can only book 12 weeks ahead; the train co's have to publish fares and times up to 12 weeks ahead (currently early Sept)
2/ Don't think you can book from abroad (you can't from U.S.) so someone here will have to book - and PAY - here.

I don't see why not, if you had a visa/credit card I don't see how it would be an issue really.

Friend of mine just rang me from the States - before Febbos' post - and she told me she can't. Someone here has to do it for her.

There are about 6 different websites you could use, which specific one was she having problems with, it might be worth noting it could be an EU thing. Seems odd though.

Shame you aren't coming to a London away Febbos I would have probably come and met you for a drink!

also a bloody shame that Southampton is away on a ****ing tuesday night pissed my plans up of getting there and back even from London I don't think I can be arsed.

I've stayed in a Campernile before it was very nice I thought, it's basically exactly like an American Motel that you would see in a horror movie without the Psychopaths and Rapists, and they provide breakfast too so what can you complain about, nothing to do there but then that isn't why you are coming is it.
