I'm currently watching the League Cup Final and Sunderland are doing a fantastic job handling Man City, 1-0 up at HT (Borini). For a lower end, relegation threatened Premier League side they are showing superb commitment and skills that we currently lack - we are currently in no position to return to the Premier League and compete with a team like this. Before this match Man City were 3/10 odds on to win and Sunderland 10/1. Later today AC Milan take on Juventus, a match also live streamed o Bet365.
3-1 Man City done & dusted - Sunderland put on a brave show though, more than we've achieved in any cup competition in recent years.
Watching the Madrid derby game - players going down like a bunch of girls and rolling around on the deck. For those interested Adel is up for another game AC Milan v Juventus. You wouldn't have thought there were 31 pts between these teams with Milan dominating most of play in the 1st half but squandering several gilt edged chances, then giving up a goal just before half-time after a defensive mix up. Taarabt has played quite well, but was once caught on the ball by Tevez in a defensive position and Juventus almost scored. HT - Milan 0 Juventus 1
More importantly than any of those games, England has finally won a cricket match!!!! Bopara, for once, managed not to throw his wicket away as the finishing line got close, hopefully that will do him the world of good.
They did their best to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory though didn't they mate? Hopefully this will instil some much needed confidence!
