How we are in this position after the start we had is a worrying factor, the confidence within the team must be ridiculously fragile. Just a good thing we caught spurs after a euro away trip otherwise we would be chin deep in poo rather than waist deep!
I don't think it was a confidence thing, I think it was just poor organisation and play. Those players do not look lacking in confidence. They are lacking a style of play and identity.

You could see the heads drop after Benteke's first goal, and Villa came charging up the pitch again. Defies belief that they can be in charge of the game for 20 minutes then just 'give up the fight'
Not sure about the organisation bit, but the defending could be better perhaps, certainly for the 1st two goals.
