You are seriously comparing Diaby to Yaya Toure .

no more needs to be said .

and although i was just waiting for you to accuse someone of being a spurs wum ..

it was still dissappointing when you actually went and did it .

    poor.

Agreed we are only a few playrs short of where we need to be and fans majorly over-react to a loss.

I think we may see soemof the moves we want in the summer. Last summer showed good signs and we know the cash is available. I can see us adding a couple of very good acquisitions in the summer.

I am comparing the type of player Diaby is to the type of player yaya toure is. If you can't see they are a very similar style of player then it's not worth discussing football with you rofl

As for the next bit about waiting for me to acuse someone of being a spurs wum, why would you be waiying for me to say that? I've never said anyone is a fan of another team before ever on this forum or the old 606. That is literally the first time i have ever made that comment. So i guess your some sort of psychic?Very odd comments from you there.

Also all this critiscm for Wilshere makes NO sense.

It's not based on reality. We are bossing games, making more chances and defending well.

The problem IMO is we dont have a CF capable of stealing the game for us. In tight games what you need is efficiency up front.

There has NEVER been a team to win the EPL without a world Class centreforward.

Call me crazy but I actually think Diaby HAD more potential than Toure.

In fact that is most likley the reason he was never signed by us even when he had him on trial. Unfortunately you cant develop as a footballer if you cant stay fit. Diaby could have been an absolute beast

i cant agree with that , he has the power , but is way too slow.

Toure is fast , powerful , a clever footballer , and has the skill .

Diaby had 2 of those qualities.
But , fitness is a matter of luck , he was unlucky .

Very interesting point this. When Ozil joined Arsenal I made the comment to a number of people that he could be another Arshavin.
Arshavin frequently disappeared when the going was tough
Whenever I watched Ozil play for either Real Madrid or Germany he always looked a lightweight.
Hopefully I'm not being proved right but only time will tell.

When the going got tough Arshavin often found the moment of brilliance that won us the game... It was when the going was supposedly easy that he went missing!

Ozil is going to be a beast for us.

With better finishing upfront he should already be leading the EPL assist charts. And he's going to get MUCH MUCH better.

Some players take longer than others to adapt to a new league.

How was Diaby Slow? Do you not remeber his goals against Villa or Newcastle? The guy had pace to burn.

Couldn't agree more. In fact I think what with Ramsey's form and the way our whole midfield have been performing, I think we may have more points at this stage if we'd got Suarez INSTEAD of Ozil.

At the start of the summer, every Gooner I talked to, plus all those on this board, identified a top class striker as what we desperately needed. We didn't get Higuain or Suarez and with so much time to sort something out, all Wenger did was make that embarrassing attempt to sign Ba from Chelsea on transfer deadline day.

I sincerely hope that we don't get Morata and instead get a top class, experienced striker this summer.

We come so close to having a formidable team then refuse to take the final step to make it happen! Frustrating.

how many players have either Chelsea or Man City bought that they can actually afford !! its not a level playing field as neither of them actually earn the money that they spend on players. they are given it and the FFP is a joke.

it was mentioned earlier on this thread and it is true that we havent won anything since the rise of Chelski and ManCity with their overspending on players. the sooner wage caps linked to real earnings are brought in.
thats why real football fans hate the likes of Chelsea and Man City. imp they can **** off and play PSG/monaco and other oligarch/oil magnates plaything clubs

Being only 4 points behind you says that, and the same for City should they win both their games. You carry on believing we're miles behind you when the stats say otherwise, in the last 3 seasons we have finished above you once, then last season you finished only 2 points above us, and City only 5, and then again we have this season which isn't over yet, and we're right in the thick of it with you and City again. You may have been miles ahead of us in 2006-2011, but that's certainly no longer the case, unless you're thick and you believe that finishing 2 points above Arsenal, and ending below Arsenal in the previous 2 seasons makes you 'miles' ahead of us.
