To be honest we would never amount to much more than a lower mid table outfit if we did get in and that would take a big push to get there. As it stands the blue square premier will be our home soon
Why not it's pretty much the same now, all the other teams in the league are looking at the games against us to take 3 points off! just with more fans
NO merging, NO ground share, NO Tan (or any other foreign lunatic)........................end of!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Man City have done alright with their Foreign Lunatic. Chelsea are pretty healthy thanks to all that Russian workers' cash. But is Tan legitimate or just a dodgy Asian geezer ? Crooks never last too long in football Personally I think Swansea are a relevant template for a club like us in what can be achieved. We do still have the potential to join the Ipswich/Norwich/Southampton smaller club group who do have an impact in football, but to go beyond that would require at least a decade of sustained top level success. The small club group generally do their business by producing young talent and shrewd buying. Of course, if a real gem comes along then we cant compete with or prevent losing him to the big boys, but at least it keeps the club ticking along. That is a best case scenario for us, but of course its a million miles from us right now. Just happy we managed to somehow beat Gillingham
