We've taken 35 points from our last 13 games. If we manage the same (tough ask) in the next 13 games then we'll end on 109, smashing the competition's record. Just goes to show how well we've been doing. So, does anyone want to take a guess on our final point's tally? please log in to view this image
Apart from Yeovil and Wednesday at home, it's quite a tricky 10 game run from Blackburn to Huddersfield, with three of the toughest games of the season (Burnley, Reading and Wigan, all away) still to come. But we're in such a fantastic position and playing very well, so it doesn't bother me too much.
Just for you "Well its Queens Park rangers Queens Park Rangers FC We're by far the greatest team the world has ever seen".... !!
I think we all know how it goes Queenie, we have been singing it at LC since I remember. Here´s a new version for you "WELL IT´S LEICESTER CITY, LEICESTER CITY F.C WE´RE BY FAR THE GREATEST TEAM THE CHAMPIONSHIP HAS EVER SEE"
Oh sorry got side tracked there. I´ve said we´ll get 93 pts because about 4 weeks ago I did the same thing at work about 6 times & 4 of those came to 93, 1 came to 91 & the other 94. So I´ll stick to 93 pts, any more will be a bonus.
Queenie - nearly every football team sings the "greatest football team" song ... I'm not sure which team invented it but I suspect you have no more claim to it than us ... the silliest version might be Chelsea's ... if you have to insert the word "super" to make he lyric work you should perhaps stick to other songs ... interesting that you think we'll lose away at Reading, who have just dropped out of the play-offs ... apart from a good away win at one of the minor London clubs, their form has been flagging ... lost at home to Sheff Wed (who couldn't beat Charlton ... who we've both beaten easily recently ... oh wait sorry) and couldn't win against the eight men of Yeovil ... yet they will beat us ... Burnley away will be a tough game ...
All of our home games now apart from Brighton are against teams fighting relegation or a team in relegation form The away games all look very tricky on paper but with this being the championship anything is possible When we look at the fixtures we need to remember as good as the opposition are or they think they are. We are better, isnt that right Queenie
just give me enough points for promotion I doubt any team would be motivated enough to go and break the league record after promotion is assured, but if theres one manager that would want to try and break it, it would be Nigel.
