Totally agree with this. When I said the same thing last year I got stupid replies. He never ever said that he was interested in joining Arsenal.
Around this time is actually when we start picking up form. Usually by now our season is over and we go on a super run to end the season strongly.
Anyway today's performance was pathetic. We got dominated in the middle and that rendered our midfield useless which in turn rendered our strike force useless (especially since we lacked pace on the wings and I have no idea what the hell Poldi was playing today). Our next game is a toughie against Everton but we can win it, it'd be a good response, and seeing as the FA Cup is our vest title chance this season we MUST play at our best. League wise we dented our hopes but they're barely just alive. Our next run of games are crucial and the team must string together some good results of we want to win it. As for the Champions League, I doubt we'll beat Bayern but let's go there and put in a good performance.
I don't think we got dominated today, we were just very poor today, lacking sharpness, pace etc. It was the same story as we have seen many times this season, slow play, lack of good movement-speed, lack of ideas, and lazy too, so many times we lost the ball so lazily, not because Stoke were being tough, but because our minds just weren't there, we were taking it too easy. At this point, Wilshere does not deserve, and should not be starting in tough games, he offers nothing, he was so useless today, Flamini would've been much better, would've give us more bite in midfield.
We've been playing poorly in general since the start of the year, in fact I'd say we've been pretty poor since December. If you look at all the games we played, you can probably only mention 2-3 where we performed really well (Spurs, Liverpool, and Sunderland), in the rest we looked average and just did it.
Thank God Ramsey might be back against Spurs. We've severely missed him recently. Today he'd have been making the runs and winning the 50-50s our midfield didn't. We miss him.
I think Ramsey's return to the side could be the spark we need to re-energize ourselves. He was our game changer and frankly the trio of Ãzil-Ramsey-Flamini were amazing in midfield before Ramsey's injury.
Pool showing title winning pedigree at the right time... I wouldn't count them out, I really think they have a chance.
They have a chance indeedio, but lot's of big games for them, United, City, Chelsea, I don't see them winning all 3 of those games. Can see them losing, drawing, and winning, basically 4 of 9, that would still be a good return from those 3 games.
