Time to get out of here.the doom mongers are coming

 

I thought you guys played some good football today and 3-0 was very flattering for us. Truth be told, it was very close - difference in that we took our chances whilst you didn't. On another day, could have been very different.

Good luck for the rest of the season, you might not improve your position, but you can certainly keep progressing as a very talented and still young squad of players. A good platform for next season

 

We have two games coming up that we should/could win...the team need something to build their confidence up. Something different to break up the sameness...perhaps the international break will do it.

Yes, but it was after the second that they really shut things down. Ramirez looked the only person capable of potentially making something happen in the second half. More so than Adam (who they shut down brilliantly in the second half too).

 

Of course it does. If Liverpool are sitting back because they are leading, then they must have been doing so after 14 minutes. I recall that we dominated them (in particular Chambers down the right) for the rest of that half. He stooped doing so when Ramirez came on (or when Davis went off, however you wnat to look at it).

 

I don't see it as doom mongering - the press releases keep saying 'We'll learn from this' but we keep doing the same thing. 60-70% and lose. Neither doom and gloom or particularly unhappy myself but it is a fact and we will get that message in the next 24 hours.

The season finished after the Sunderland game so I'm not all glum and sad-sack at the moment and neither would I have been over-the-top 'Champion's League' if we'd have won 3-0 either.

Just an observation but clearly not a welcome one so I'll give it a rest.

Superb performance from your lads today, if there was any justice you'd have 3 points to your name too. Schooled us in that first half, but overall the quality of our front line shone through, as it has all season.

Said last season when we lost this fixture, this team of yours can go very far. Add to what you already have and you can certainly challenge for fourth next season.

I agree!!! He looks great around the box, he is an excellent playmaker. I'm just saying he does **** all to help out defensively.

 

But it's not something you can learn from.....you can't "learn" to finish chances better. You just need better players.

Liverpool looked very comfortable tonight and deserved to win. Not the best saints side i have seen this season as they look to be in the safe mode knowing they wont go down anyway...

Bollocks. We have such a young team. Of course they will keep improving. You have to be patient.

Unlucky guys, 3-0 was very flattering to us and had you scored when you were on top think would have been a very different game and we'd have been happy to sneak away with a draw.

Again, I agree on this. But we still need to be more patient regarding the overall performance of the team.
