On my way home from work. Sounds like the usual story though. Dominate possession, fail to take chances, concede sloppy goal(s).
Hopefully Liverpool continue to be profligate, getting whooped after playing so well for much of the game would be particularly demoralising.
And so predictable. For all the rhetoric about not letting the season peter out, I'm not seeing much evidence of it. Six goals conceded in our last three games now, only one scored. Certainly looked like he did to me.
Not necessarily dominating possession; we were moving the ball too quickly for that. Definitely had the upper hand for much of the game until the second goal, but this is what Liverpool do...there's a reason that they will finish the season with 90+ goals, and there likely isn't another team in the league better at capitalizing on momentary slip-ups (or forcing them).
Rest of this season is about performances, not results. Would rather be losing the way we are losing tonight, than winning the way West Ham won against us.
Ramirez makes a few pretty touches, but he does **** ALL defensively. Chambers hasn't made any attacking moves in the second half at all. First half he was all over it, cos Davis was covering him.
