Apologies if this has already been posted but he confirmed a few days ago on twitter he would be reporting to NUFC for pre-season...

What's going on? I thought the QPR deal was pretty much all tied up?

At 1.5M I think it's probably a little cheap and I would rather be getting rid of Perch/Smith/Xisco/Lovenkrands first but it appears he might be hanging around anyway..

We need to keep him I reckon. If Barnetta comes but Barton leaves, who will we have on the right.

Xisco/Smith/Perch can leave and Nolan has, thats it I reckon.

    I predict IN:
    Erdinc
    Ba, Cabaye(done)
    Barnetta
    Naylor
    The Zog

    Out:
    Nolan
Jonas - don't know why but I think he will leave
    The other I said

He had posted on twitter he was starting pre season with us so looks like he is staying. Personally dont think he should have been loaned out last season when we where so short on numbers.

Agreed.. At the time I thought it was part of some sort of pre negotiated deal to get Taarabt come the transfer window but clearly not.

I wanna keep him anyway. He's decent back up and we aint gonna get that for 1.5m to replace him.

I like him to be honest. He was actually very good in some PL games last season, but Pardew doesn't seem to rate him and I think he'll be off at some point this summer.

    this.

Hes also a quick player and we could use him as an impact sub.

This. wouldn't mind him as back-up/squad player/impact sub. His pace will burn most PL defences, if not all coming off the bench. Needs to learn how to cross though(at this level), needs to improve his decision making & his end product in general. His dribbling & technical ability isn't that great either, so needs to improve that aswell if possible.

I suppose I'd keep him but with Barton, Jonas, Ferguson and Barnetta (for the sake of argument) I dont see him playing much. If he asked to leave I'd let him go to QPR for 1-2mil.

Yes, definitely an excellent impact sub to have. If he can master his crossing he'd be an excellent pair of legs to come on in the 70th-80th minute or something!
