well they are now controlling this. We need to get a grip in midfield and at the back.we can't rely on the woodwork to protect us. At this rate it is a matter of time before they score.

Coutinho needs to come off at half time and Sterling brought on. He's offering nothing and giving the ball away, at least Sterling will help defensively and give us an outlet to launch some counters through.

Would give him a bit longer. Last couple of times he's got on the ball he's nearly put Suarez in and released Sturridge down the right after a lovely little flick.

midfield is being sliced open every time Saints come forward, then its desperate at the back. You have to be very lucky and rely on their strikers to have an off day to win a game playing like that.

 

Problem with this diamond formation is you don't have natural protection down the wings. Yes, the CM can run across but by the time they get there, the man has the ball under control and has already got the time to pick out a pass or make a decision.

 

This is ****ing dross. We've been playing like its the last 5mins since we scored.

BR needs to sort this out at HT and get rid of this diamond and get the wide players to offer some more protection.

 

Get Sturridge on the right, bring Sterling on for Coutinho and stick him on the left.
